More than 16-hundred pounds of dog and cat food will help to feed the roughly 120 animals that call Big Spring’s Happy Day Humane Society home. The last week of October students and staff at BSHS participated in the Trick or Treat for the Humane Society food drive organized by StuCo. The Executive Director of the shelter, Angie Mims, says the donation couldn’t have come at a better time because donations have been very, very low.
